Biography

I work at the intersection of corporate law, civil procedure and private international law. My focus is on situations where those three areas collide: shareholder conflicts with cross-border elements, asset restructuring under pressure, enforcement of judgments in jurisdictions with complex procedural requirements.

I examine contentious situations and dispute structures with a focus on the economics of the legal decision - because the right legal move and the right business move are not always the same thing, and a good adviser understands both.

I write about mechanisms for protecting business interests and the interests of their beneficiaries, deliberately avoiding academic language and concentrating on what actually works in practice.
